What is the difference between Elite Eyelash extensions and false lashes?

False lashes last only 1day to 7 days. Elite Eyelash extensions are Semi-permanent. Traditional false lashes are often looking unnatural and feeling heavy on your eyes.

Many companies will stated you can apply the lashes on your bottom lashes, Bellini Lashes recommends only apply these lashes on your top lash as it can be harmful to you eye if you apply them to your bottom lashes.

How do my clients take care of the extensions?

Lash extensions are virtually maintenance free. Once applied they last up to 2 months. Just follow basic guidelines.

• Do not wash eyes or shower for 24 hours after lash application. Do not swim or spa for 48 hours after lash application to allow adequate time for bonding.
• Be gentle with your lashes.
• Avoid rubbing your eyes.
• Avoid oil-based and waterproof mascara. Water based mascara and water based mascara remover may be used. Use mascara sparingly and gently remove mascara with water-based eye makeup remover. Apply mascara on the tips only.
• We recommend getting a touch up every two to four weeks.

How often should touch ups be done?

We recommend getting a touch up every two to four weeks. A natural eyelash falls off every 60 to 90 days on average due to the natural growth cycle and is naturally replaced with the growth of a new eyelash. At any given moment, each of your natural eyelashes is at a different stage of its life cycle. A touch up is needed to replenish the lashes that have completed their life cycle. Touch ups generally take a short time and are relatively inexpensive.

Can mascara be applied on extensions?

Mascara is not needed with extensions. However, if the client must have the mascara look, only water based mascara can be used. Waterproof mascara along with any type of oil based mascara will dissolve the bonding agent and cause the extensions to fall off. Lavish Lashes™ naturally darken your lashes, your lashes will look vivid and mascara is not necessary. If desired, you may wear water-based mascara on the tip of the Lavish Lashes™ for enhancement. Never use waterproof mascara as any type of mascara remover may not be used at all. Rubbing directly on the Lavish Lashes™, or using mascara remover will weaken the bonding. Water-based mascara should come off with just soap and water while washing your face or showering. We do not recommend that you use mascara as your lashes are long and luscious with Bellini Lashes

Can I swim, shower, exercise, or visit a spa while wearing extensions?

Yes. You can enjoy these lashes with little need to adjust your lifestyle. Although we do not swim or spa for 48 hours after the procedure to allow the bonding agent to fully cure. After this, you can swim and spa - worry free.

Can I apply the lashes myself?

This procedure requires you to keep your eye shut will applying the lashes. We do NOT recommend that you apply the lashes yourself as the glue can be harmful to the eye. No. Only a trained professional will be able to safely apply extensions. Unprofessional application or self-application may cause eye injury, clumpy or unnatural looking lashes. Extensions are applied one lash at a time to your individual natural eyelashes to achieve long, thick and natural looking eyelashes. The procedure involves bonding the synthetic extension to your own natural eyelashes.
